It is often said that teachers make great students, so why not make them great Ultimate Frisbee players, too?! On February 25, 2020, GSP Malaysia partnered with Insitut Pendidikan Malaysia (IPG) schools to organize the Ultimate Frisbee Championship for the IPG Carnival Games between Staff 2020 (KAPAS – Karniaval Permainan Antara Staf) at the Campus Pendidikan Islam just outside of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Male and female teachers competed in separate divisions and in 3on3, 5on5, and 7on7 competitions. Time on the field with these educators produced a lot of laughs, sweat, and fun! It was an enjoyable experience for all. Current teachers had the opportunity to model teamwork and athleticism to future teachers, who were either spectators or volunteers at the event. The fun-filled day concluded with a disc golf challenge.
GSP Malaysia is honored to partner with great schools and organizations in Malaysia, such as IPG, to develop the sport of Ultimate Frisbee.
